Amazons erster Pop-up-Store in Deutschland

Mit #HomeOfChristmas bietet Amazon dieses Jahr ein außergewöhnliches Weihnachtserlebnis im Herzen Berlins: Vom 22. bis zum 27. November kann man sich im Pop-up-Store am Kurfürstendamm 26a auf Weihnachten und die besinnliche Zeit einstimmen. Auf die Besucher warten verschiedene Areas, in denen sie Geschenkideen entdecken und neue Produkte testen können. Eine Inspiration wird Lou-i sein. Amazons Produktexperten haben Lou-i als exklusive Geschenkidee auserkoren und infolgedessen wird ein Holzcap Unikat vor Ort kuratiert. Ebenfalls für Begeisterung könnten Workshops und exklusive Events wie Lesungen und Konzerte von Lions Head und Rea Garvey im #HomeOfChristmas sorgen.

Labels aus Augsburg eröffnen Concept Store

Am Anfang war die Idee…
Nach über drei Monaten wird es Realität. 7 lokale Labels eröffnen die ‘Zwischenzeit’, einen Concept Store in Augsburg – auch dank der Unterstützung von Wirtschaftsförderung Stadt Augsburg und Augsburg Marketing. BIG OPENING ist am Samstag, den 10.11.2018 ab 12:00 Uhr in der Annastraße 16. Lou-i, Degree Clothing, LEBELEI, Nina Gorissen Manufaktur, Heaters, Pong Clothing und Atelier.Ki präsentieren in sehr ansprechender Atmosphäre ihre aktuellen Kollektionen, d.h.: Accessoires, Fotografie, Grafiken, Mode, Schmuck, Taschen und viele wunderschöne Weihnachtsgeschenke.
Das Motto “Gutes aus Augsburg” wird von Mittwoch bis Samstag jeweils von 10:00-18:00 Uhr für die nächsten Monate in der Zwischenzeit Programm sein. Noch mehr wollen wir an dieser Stelle noch nicht verraten. Schaut einfach vorbei und feiert mit uns!

Lou-i insight – Paris Fashion Week

Visiting Boutiques, Fashion Trade Shows and Showrooms

Fashion Capital Paris was at the top of the list for a long time. The trip was overdue and in January the time has come. The chosen means of transportation – the TGV was and is a very convenient way of traveling by train to Paris – we joyfully noticed another time. After the arrival we started our engines with a cup of coffee and a baguette at a charming little café near Montmartre. Later we went for a stroll along the Seine. On our way to the art museum we were astounded to see that there is not a queue where you expect a very long queue – consequently we leaped at the chance to visit the Louvre, again and again it is certainly worth a visit. With a delicious dinner at a special Japanese restaurant and an exquisite glass of wine it came at the end of a long first day. Spending the nights at a friend’s house (best board and lodging ever – thanks a lot!) the program in the following days ran as planned: Alternately fashion to art and art to fashion. In detail we visited TRANOÏ fashion trade show, many concept stores, fashion boutiques, galleries and showrooms. We had amazing days in Paris – lasting impressions, a lot of interesting conversations and we have learnt a thing or two once again. However there’s no need to panic –  shopping has not missed out. And of course we haven’t insisted ourselves on enjoying magnificent times with delicious food and drinks at finest brasseries. Goodbye Paris, see you soon!

Fashion Revolution Week. Just say NO

Fashion Revolution is a global movement calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry. The defined goal is to unite the fashion industry and ignite a revolution to radically change the way our clothes are sourced, produced and purchased, so that what the world wears has been made in a safe, clean and fair way.

Fashion Revolution Week is their #whomademyclothes campaign in April, which happens at the time of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, where 1,138 people were killed and many more injured on 24th April 2013.
